Robert Buchalter has worked in the real estate development, management and construction
field for more than 25 years. He is currently President of Capital Growth Buchalter, Inc. - a
general contractor, development and management company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
Buchalter and Capital Growth Buchalter, Inc. have developed and/or acquired in excess of $300 million in
properties - including retail, office, warehouse, commercial office, mult-family complexes and
master planned residential communities, and medical related developments. These properties
are located in numerous states - including Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana,
Georgia, Texas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.
Buchalter is a past president of both the Tuscaloosa Homebuilders Association and the
Homebulders Association of Alabama; a member of the Alabama Chapter of CCIM's; a member
of the Alabama Board of Realtors; past board member of the Tuscaloosa Chapter of Big
Brothers and Big Sisters. He is the current Chairman of the Alabama Builders Political
Action Committee.
Buchalter graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in Business
Administration.
